Ron Kenoly, born December 6th, 1944, started singing at the Coffeyville, Kansas Baptist Church where he grew up. After joining the armed services and serving in the Air Force from 1965 to 1968, Ron moved his family to Los Angeles, California and pursued a career as a recording artist. After spending some time on the charts, and some time off,he left his R&B career behind after re-committing his life to Christ in 1975.

.....After receiving his Master's degree in Music, he taught vocal lessons in Northern California. In 1985 Ron started leading worship at a local church Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California. His faith-filled, joyous and exciting style of worship soon caught the attention of Integrity Music. After signing a contract, Ron recorded "Jesus Is Alive" right at his church in San Jose. It received much critical and popular praise when it was released in 1991. Ron's career as an international worship leader and facilitator was born. His follow up recording "Lift Him Up with Ron Kenoly" was the

fastest selling Praise and Worship recording to that date. Both this album and the follow up, "God Is Able" were nominated for Dove Awards by the Gospel Music Association. That was just the beginning of the FIVE times he has been nominated for a Dove Award, winning it once for his release "Welcome Home" in 1997.
