Jeff & Gail Wall
.....My wife Gail and I are the founders of The Lighthouse Events. We both were raised in California with families who love the Lord.

..... I met Gail after I finished commercial fishing in Alaska and she completed playing volleyball at the University of Washington. We met through our church singles group and married in 1994. After my years in Alaska I was offered a job in Christian radio. For 20 years I helped make radio networks grow with stops at Family Radio, Calvary Chapel, K-LOVE, Air1 Radio and many others. In 2007 we felt the Lord calling us to Maine to be a part of a local ministry, So in the summer of 2007 we loaded up our car and moved our family across country. We have three children, Jessica (12), Rachel (6) and Cody (4). One year later our job plans had changed and we found ourselves wondering why God had brought us to Maine. It was August 2008 about 2am when we both decided we should start The Lighthouse Events. And so with a flick of a switch, The Lighthouse Events had begun. Our first show was in late September 2008 with artist Laura Story, and thus began our great adventure.

.....Since the start we have developed great friends all over the Northeast and Eastern Canada. We have had the opportunity to visit over 1,000 churches to share what we are doing. In a year and half we have facilitated more than 50 concerts to over 40,000 people. We have had the opportunity to bring such Christian Musicians as Matthew West, Bebo Norman, Natalie Grant, John Waller, MercyMe and many, many more in concert to Maine, New Brunswick, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We are looking forward to seeing how God is going to use TLE. Our hopes are that people will be encouraged, people will use our events to reach out to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, and people will be drawn to Christ.

..... We want to say a huge "Thank you" to our great volunteers, our business partners and the local churches for helping us do this.

Brett & Julie Garrett
.....Brett Garrett grew up in Kennebunkport, Maine and moved to San Jose, California to attend Bible college. After college he became "just" friends with Julie and eventually realized he'd fallen in love. It was also during this time that Brett and Julie became friends with two other single folk, Jeff Wall and Gail (Wall) Thorpe. Jeff and Gail were even emcee and hostess of Brett & Julie's wedding. Brett became involved in the Christian Music Industry and moved he and his new bride to Nashville in the fall of 1996, but with the birth of their first child they moved to Southern California to be close to family and the ocean.

.....Brett and Julie never lost touch with their good friends, and in August 2008 Brett partnered with them as the webmaster and "graphics guy" in starting The Lighthouse Events. While still living and working in California, Brett has never lost his heart for the body of Christ in Maine and New England.

Allan & Leeanne Hewey
.Allan and Leeanne Hewey met in the back of an ambulance in 1993.   We were married July 13, 1994. They have five beautiful children 3 boys, 2 girls and  proud grandparents of two granddaughters and 2 grandsons.    Leeanne and Allan worked together as an EMT/FFI and Paramedic/FFII for several years.   They taught Firefighter I and EMT-B, OSHA 1910 and 1926, CPR and Basic Emergecny First Aid courses at KVCC in Fairfield, Maine. Allan has been the Fire Chief in Manchester, Maine since 1997.   They own their own sign business, Chief Lee Signs & Flags located in Manchester, Maine.   Leeanne works as a Marketing Consultant with Trinity Media Works and Citadel Broadcasting.     Leeanne is currently in collge to become an attorney.    We also love serving our Lord and Savior through our husband and wife band called Sequel.    We travel to churches throughout Maine to teach worship seminars for churches trying to build a worship team and provide respite music for church worship teams that desire a sabatical.

We enjoy working with The Lighthouse Events.    We get to meet so many great people during the concerts.   The volunteers are fabulous servants and the entire lighthouse team is amazing.   It is exciting to see God move.    So many blessings every time we get together with everyone....

Leeanne has developed a marketing strategy for people to partner with The Lighthouse Events.   This is all new in 2010 and ready to launch.   We have a magazine now  "The Beacon Spotlight" and many other opportunities for your church, organization or business to reach The Lighthouse events audiences.
